"Clear Glass Vessels"

July 2007 Made during my glassblowing class at the Summer High School Program at Snow Farm. This was my first attempt at glassblowing, and I got to do it for 3 hours every day for about 10 days. I don't think glass is really my thing, but the experience was completely worth it. The cup on the left is super-heavy seeing as the sides are very thick, but I kinda love it. It looks spectacular with orange juice in it. I also made a frit cup and a sweet paperweight in the same class, but I don't have good pictures of them. |
