"Jelly Floral Hairpin"

July 2006 Made during my metals and jewelry class at the Summer High School Program at Snow Farm. You can see that I was already into jellyfish a year before I even thought of this. It was an excuse to use etchant. The back has poppies etched into it, but it photographed even more poorly than this, so I don't have that to show you. This is also an essentially useless piece, as my hair is too short for this and I don't really want to give it away. |
