"Houses"

2005 Done in art class at school in 2005. Both houses function as incense burners: there's space in each of the chimneys for a cone of incense. Both of these are supposed to be dilapidated, broken-down houses, and at the time I thought it was a cool concept to have uninhabitable houses with smoke coming out of the chimneys. I still think it's a cool idea, actually. I was going to make a whole neighborhood of these but never got around to it. Oh well. The whitish one has a little broken-legged chair inside it. It's pretty rad. |
