This was written for a writing contest held by Rhawen/a> a while back. We were given a photo and had to write a story inspired by it. The photo was of a plant by a fence. Being a doofus, I turned the plant and the fence into two separate cities living side by side, but not really at peace. Being a hopeless romantic as well as a doofus, I decided to turn it into your typical "forbidden love" story. In retrospect, it's not that good.
